BEREVEMENT AWARENESS IN EDUCATION – Let’s talk about death.

A parent of children under 18 dies every 22 minutes in the UK, this is around 111 children being bereaved of a parent every single day – this does not include other members of a family such as Grandparents and siblings. All children in England should receive grief education at school.
Co-Authored by John Adams, he along with the University of Bristol, Good Grief Connects and Policy Bristol have come together to research the impact of unresolved grief in young adults and how education can equip them with the knowledge and strategies to not only cope with grief, but help others.
