Margaret Canning.
on April 25th 2020, peacefully at ‘Innage Grange Residential Care Home’, Bridgnorth, following a short illness, Miss Margaret Weir of Lavington Court, Underhill Street, Bridgnorth, aged 86 years. Former deputy Headmistress of Castlefields Primary School, Bridgnorth.
Daughter of the late William and the late Elizabeth Weir (former Mayor and Mayoress of Bridgnorth) and Sister of the late John Weir.
Margaret was much loved and will be sadly missed by her Sister Anna, her dear friend Ruth, her Nephew Mark and Niece Judith and by all her great nephews and great nieces.
Due to the strict current covid-19 pandemic regulations, a strictly private funeral service, for immediate Family mourners only, will be held at Bridgnorth Town Cemetery.
If you wish to pay your respects to Miss Weir, the cortege will travel along Bridgnorth High Street at 11.45am. on Monday May 11th.
