Douglas Frank.
On December 15th 2020, peacefully in Hospital at Telford, Shropshire, following a short illness, Douglas Grant, PhD, of Bridgnorth, Shropshire, formerly of Pickering, Berwick-upon-Tweed, St. Andrews, Cardiff and Newcastle, aged 97 years.
Former Physics Senior Lecturer at the University of St Andrews and Cardiff University.
Widower of Pauline, they loved each other dearly, the loving Father of Peter, Ian, Gordon, Derek and David, and a very dear Father in Law, Grandfather and Great Grandfather. Much loved, Douglas will be sadly missed by all his family and friends.
Due to the current covid-19 pandemic National emergency, a strictly private funeral service, for invited Mourners only, will be conducted at Telford Crematorium.
