On December 22nd 2020, peacefully at ‘Bower Grange Residential Care Home’, Alveley, Nr. Bridgnorth, Alan Davies, formerly of Love Lane, Bridgnorth, aged 100 years.
The former Captain of Bridgnorth Cricket and Golf Club, former Chairman of Selectors and Vice President of Bridgnorth Rugby Club and well known Bridge player throughout the local area.
The devoted Husband of the late Shirley Davies, special Father of Geoff and the late Tim Davies and a loving Grandad of Hannah and Lawrence. Much loved, Alan will be sadly missed by all his Family and friends.
Due to the current covid-19 pandemic National emergency, a strictly private funeral service, for invited Mourners only, will be conducted at Telford Crematorium.
If you wish to pay your respects to Alan, and to his Family, the cortege will travel through Bridgnorth High Street at 11.40am. on Saturday January 16th 2021.
The Family request that social distancing is observed at all times.
