On August 9th 2021, peacefully in Hospital at Shrewsbury, following a short illness, Dr. Mike Gray, O.B.E., of Cricket Meadow, Bridgnorth, and formerly of St. Mary’s Steps, Bridgnorth, aged 70 years. R.I.P.
The Husband of the late Dianne Gray, the loving Father of Nicholas, Ruth and Eleanor, Father in Law of Elizabeth, Wael and Bradley and the dear ‘Bapak’ of Rosanna, Gabriella, Amber, Alfie, Leila and Kira. Much loved and respected, Mike will be sadly missed by all his Family and friends.
Due to continuing covid-19 pandemic National emergency regulations, a strictly private Funeral Mass, for invited Mourners only, will be Celebrated at The R.C. Church of St. John The Evangelist, Bridgnorth, on Saturday August 21st and will be followed by cremation at Telford Crematorium.
The cortege will leave from Northgate, Bridgnorth, to travel to The Crematorium via Bridgnorth High Street, at 10.55am.
A Webcast of both services will be available, details upon request.
Family and all friends are then invited to a post-funeral reception at ‘The Golden Lion’, High Street, Bridgnorth, to celebrate Mikes’ life and times, from 12.30pm.
No flowers by request please, but donations, which are being received for, and divided between, ‘BEAT eating disorders’ and ‘The R.N.L.I.’ are being gratefully received, for which purpose a collection box will be provided OUTSIDE The Church, or online at www.perryandphillipsfunerals.com.
