On August 14th 2023, peacefully in Hospital at Dudley, following a short illness, Eric Plain, of Chestnut Drive, Worfield, Nr. Bridgnorth, aged 93 years.
A local league football referee for over 60 years.
The beloved Husband and best friend of Sheila, the loving Father of Heather, Mark and Sharon, Father in Law of Roy, Clare and Andrew, the dear Grandad of Billy, Oliver, Josh, Isobel, Molly and Ella, and a very special Brother, Brother in Law, Uncle and Great Uncle. Much loved and greatly respected within the community, Eric will be sadly missed by his Family, his friends, his former colleagues, and by all those dearest to him.
Funeral service at The Parish Church of St. Peter The Apostle, Worfield, on Thursday August 31st at 2.00pm., to be followed by a private interment ceremony, for Family and invited mourners only, at Worfield Parish Cemetery.
