On September 19th 2023, peacefully in Hospital at Dudley, in the presence of her Family, following a short illness, Joan Alderson, of Church Lane, Tasley, formerly of Morville, Nr. Bridgnorth, aged 87 years.
Widow of Phillip (‘Pip’) Alderson, the loving Mother of Keith, Neal, Helen and Rachel, Mother in Law of Jenny, Sue, Phillip and Bob, the dear Nan of Ben, Victoria, Isaac, Sebastian, Hayley, Lisa, Charlie, Nick and Victoria, the Great Nan of Raf, Lucas, Kieron, Matilda, Jessica, Alfie, Kyle, Jaxon, Erin, Ben and Rory, and a very special Sister, Sister in Law and Aunt. Much loved and greatly respected within the community, Joan will be sadly missed by her Family, her friends and neighbours, by all former colleagues and customers at Keith Alderson Butchers of Bridgnorth, and by all those dearest to her.
Private cremation ceremony.
A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving will be conducted at The Parish Church of St. Gregory The Great, Morville, on Tuesday October 24th at 12.45pm.
No flowers by request please, but donations, which are to be divided between ‘The Lingen Davies Cancer Appeal at The Royal Shrewsbury Hospital N.H.S.
