On September 16th 2023, peacefully at ‘The Wheatlands Residential Care Home’, Much Wenlock, in the presence of his Family, following a short illness, John Walker, formerly of Lower Shirlett, Nr. Bridgnorth, aged 93 years.
Widower of Jean Walker, loving Father of Tim, Father in Law of Jenny.
Private cremation.
A Service of Celebration and Thanksgiving for the lives of both John and Jean will be conducted at The Parish Church of The Holy Trinity, Much Wenlock, on Wednesday November 1st at 3.00pm.
A post-funeral reception will then follow, to be hosted at ‘The Gaskell Arms Hotel’, Much Wenlock, to which all friends are invited.
No flowers by request please, but donations, which are to be divided between ‘Dementia U.K.’ and ‘Cat’s Protection’ are being gratefully received, for which purpose a collection box will be provided at The Church, or online at www.perryandphillipsfunerals.com
