Clifford Cunningham
(‘Cliff’)
On November 10th 2023, peacefully at his home, in the presence of his loving
Family, following a long illness borne with great patience and courage, Cliff
Tomkins, of Alveley, Nr. Bridgnorth, aged 76 years.
Former steel sales with ‘British Steel’, ‘Kitson Steel’ and ‘Meridian Metal
Trading’.
The devoted Husband and best friend of Lynne, the loving Father of Craig and
Helen, Father in Law of Lynne and Sean, and the dear Papa of Alfie, Esther,
Charlie and Harry.
Much loved and greatly respected within the community, Cliff will be sadly
missed by his Family, his friends and neighbours, by his former colleagues and
by all those dearest to him.
Funeral service at The Parish Church of St. Mary The Virgin, Alveley, on
Tuesday December 5th at 11.45am., to be followed by a private cremation
ceremony.
Mourning dress optional.
A post-funeral reception will be hosted at ‘Alveley Social Club ‘ following The
Church service, to which all Mourners are warmly invited. The Family will join
you there upon their return from The Crematorium.
Family flowers only by request please, but donations, which are to be divided
between ‘The National Heart and Lung Foundation’ and ‘Prostate Cancer U.K.’,
are being gratefully received, for which purpose a collection box will be provided
