On March 9th 2024, peacefully at ‘Danesford Grange Residential Care Home’, St. Mary, Bridgnorth, in the presence of her adoring Husband and Toby, her faithful dog, following a long illness borne with great fortitude, Diane Vanes, S.R.N., of Jubilee Drive, Highley, Nr. Bridgnorth, formerly of Cranbourne Avenue, Sedgley, aged 81 years.
The dearly loved Wife and best friend of Robert and a very special Sister, Sister in Law and Aunt. Much loved and greatly respected within the community, Diane will be sadly missed by her Family, by her friends and neighbours, by former nursing colleagues at Wordsley and Burton Road Hospitals, where Diane was a Ward Sister Midwife, by the countless Mum’s and their newborn babies who Diane has assisted over the years, and by all those dearest to her.
Funeral service at The Parish Church of St. Mary, Highley (WV16 6NA) on Friday April 5th at 2.00pm., to be followed by interment in The Churchyard.
