On July 11th 2024 peacefully in the presence of his Family, following a short illness, Roy White, formerly of Claverley, Nr. Wolverhampton, aged 101 years.
Widower of Barbara White, the loving Father of Ann, Philip and the late Stephen, Father in Law of John and Dorothy, the dear ‘Grandad Roy’ of Peter, Louise, Adrian, Clare and Helen, a Great Grandad, a Great, Great Grandad, and the special Brother of Miss Kay White, M.B.E., the late Reg White and the late Margaret Farquharson. A D-Day Veteran who was much loved and greatly respected within the community, Roy will be sadly missed by his Family, by friends and former neighbours and by former colleagues, staff and customers at ‘White Line Telford Ltd.’, where he was Company Chairman.
Funeral service at The Parish Church of All Saints, Claverley, on Monday August 5th at 12.30pm, to be followed by interment in The Churchyard.
