On August 9th 2024, peacefully at ‘Waterloo House Residential Care Home’, Bidford on Avon, following a long illness, Bill Picton, of Cooks Cross, Alveley, Nr. Bridgnorth, aged 94 years.
Widower of Lily Picton, the dearly loved Father of Richard, Father in Law of Debbie, and Grandfather to Zoe and Jason. Much loved and greatly respected within the community, Bill will be sadly missed by his Family, his friends and neighbours and by all friends in the Alveley Walking Group.
Funeral service at The Parish Church of St. Mary The Virgin, Alveley, on Tuesday September 10th at 11.00am..
A post-funeral reception, to which all Mourners are most warmly invited, will then follow at ‘The Three Horseshoes’ public house at Alveley.
A private cremation ceremony will be conducted at The Wyre Forest Crematorium, Stourport on Severn, later that day.
