Funerals : Direct Cremation
Planning a funeral is never easy,
As unattended funerals increase in public choice, it is our aim to give you more choice but to still keep this option very simple.
Direct Cremation.
More families are opting for ‘Direct cremation’ for their loved ones, many choosing to gain their closure when releasing or interring the cremated Remains of their loved one. Despite it not being a ‘common practice’ our prices are below for your perusal.

| Our professional charges for arranging the funeral in accordance with instructions. Including preparation of your loved one; preparation of paperwork and liaison with the appropriate authorities as necessary, including all telephone calls etc. | £1750.00 |
| To removal of your loved one from the place of rest (50 miles), to our Chapels of Rest at Bridgnorth, including hire of a Mercedes removal ambulance and two operatives. | |
| Provision of a simple cremation coffin, with plain sides and a flat lid, polished, lined and upholstered throughout, fitted with cremation furniture and finished with satin edging lace. | |
| To removal ambulance to act as the hearse for the funeral committal at the Crematorium. | |

Please note, the ‘direct cremation’ (Unattended funeral) does not include the following:
- No service at the Crematorium.
- No Minister or Celebrant in attendance.
- A hearse will not be present at the Crematorium – the removal ambulance is used to transport the coffin.
- No family are present at the cremation.
- Viewing at the Chapels of Rest – this is a free of charge service which we proudly provide.
- A single red rose can be placed on the coffin at the request of the Family (Courtesy of Perry and Phillips)
- Please note: Perry and Phillips DO NOT instruct third party companies to carry out this service on their behalf.
