Location: Highley, Nr, Bridgnorth – Cowley House
Working hours: 10am – 4pm.
Availability: Position to be available as of Monday 9th October.
Overall Role: We are a looking to recruit someone to join our small Family friendly team based at our facility in Highley. This person to carry out the actioning of all memorialisation related items for all three Funeral homes within our business. We are a well-established Funeral Directors with our head facility based in Bridgnorth, Shropshire, with the Highley facility to be a site to serve the bereaved of this area and further afield.
The role will also have the sensitive and impactful contact with the bereaved when first reporting deaths. This is an opportunity to support and give critical information to the bereaved at the most important time.
Brief Job Description: You will be responsible for actioning of all memorial headstones, new orders, second inscriptions, pre-paid funerals and requirements such as actioning orders for the Perry & Phillips Rose garden and fingerprint jewellery. You will work as part of a small team dedicated to client care. Whilst going through induction and training you will work closely with our team to ensure our standards are met and to provide you a platform to be empowered in this role. Minimum Qualifications:

· The individual to value the opportunity to carry out Funeral Industry qualifications (at no cost to you) to better their knowledge on funeral
administration.
· The ability to work under pressure.
· A pro-active approach to working within the community.
· To be the point of contact for arranging community events for all three funeral homes (Bridgnorth, Highley and Cleobury Mortimer)
· Computer literacy with a good working knowledge of Excel.
· Be able to operate WhatsApp group Messages.
· Relationship liaison for property management and provide monthly updates to all parties.
· Build healthy working relationship with our Memorial masons.
· Ability to follow instructions concisely.
· Work well with others and alone (This position is predominantly lone working – if you feel the need to have constant contact please do not apply)

Pay: Around £11.50/hr
Schedule: 10.00am – 4.00pm (Monday to Friday)
Probation Period: 6 Months
Experience:
– An understanding of commercial awareness.
– An understanding of loss.
Requirements:
– DBS to be carried out on starting.
– Driving license required
