Donate to our Charity
Supporting those who support others.
Each year, we choose a charity that reflects the values we hold close: compassion, care, and community. For 2026, Perry & Phillips is proud to support Ovacome, the UK-wide ovarian cancer charity.
Ovacome provides vital support for those affected by ovarian cancer, offering guidance, information, and a listening ear at every step of the journey. They also play a crucial role in raising awareness of early symptoms and funding life saving research.
Why We Chose Ovacome
This charity holds a deeply personal place in our hearts. In 1999, Maria Adams the beloved mother of Katie and John, died from ovarian cancer. Her strength, courage, and love remain at the centre of everything we do as a family and as a Funeral Directors.
By supporting Ovacome, we honour her memory and stand alongside the thousands of families who face ovarian cancer every year. It’s our way of giving back to help fund vital support, raise awareness, and create hope for others walking a similar path.
“This is more than just a charity for us. It’s personal. We want to help ensure that other families receive the support, information, and care they need – because we know what it’s like to face this.”

About Ovacome
Ovacome is the UK’s ovarian cancer support charity. We have been providing personalised support and information to those diagnosed with ovarian cancer and their loved ones since 1996.
We are at the heart of the ovarian cancer community and as a membership charity, we work directly to meet the needs of those affected by the disease across the UK.

Our support services include:
- Telephone, email, text and instant chat support
- An online forum
- Regional events including health and wellbeing days and information sessions
- A programme of online talks, workshops and support groups
We also work to raise awareness of the signs and symptoms of ovarian cancer, as well as the lived experiences of those affected by it.
We run our B.E.A.T symptom awareness campaign among the general public and educate student doctors and nurses through our Education programmes.
B is for bloating that doesn’t come and go
E is for eating difficulty and feeling full more quickly
A is for abdominal and pelvic pain you feel most days
T is for toilet changes in urination or bowel habits
We work alongside clinicians and researchers to ensure that patient voices are heard in policy and research. Since 2018 we have had a specific focus on addressing health inequalities and with over 120 local or specialist grassroots and partner organisations we have been working to better meet the needs of those who are experiencing barriers to accessing diagnosis, treatment and support – with some notable successes.
We have also been nominated for, and won a series of awards for our inclusion work – including the BBC 4 All in the Minds award, The national excellence charity awards and the World Ovarian Cancer Coalition award for innovation.
